Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. Similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. After gaining some fame through the channels of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) and began her write reviews in late 2009. Her site remained up till the start of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned to Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts. One that covers the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 and gained popularity on the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the network's family of reviewers. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on the show Nostalgia Critic.
