Music was a unfeminine space to be in, so embracing this level of femininity was a really interesting challenge for me. The idea that I could be feminine, strong, and soft, and still look after myself while not compromising myself was an uphill task for me. I've loved it quite a bit, I've been enjoying wearing heels and a dress all day long and sporting gorgeous curls, and the softest fabrics. There was pressure as I'm an older actor that everyone else who appeared in Fantastic Beasts. The experience was odd, however I could feel a force pushing me up. I was either going be crushed or crumble due to the way I longed for this role, as well as how big it was. You could spend time walking around exploring coffee shops, museums and even parks. In LA it is possible to feel alone, but in London you can ride the Tube and are right within the midst of people and every type of person who you imagine will be passing through. I enjoy watching individuals. Coming from the world of music, I'm constantly in awe by men. The feeling of the interaction with males is intimate. The books were a wish to come true for me. The novels I've read while on tour were vivid and strong. It's a fantastic world to be lost in.
